During the summer months, you can drive 15 miles into Denali Park to hike around the Savage River. We drove in on Friday to do just that. There are trails for around 3/4 of a mile in, then it was all mountain goating after that. We had a great time, scaling rocks faces and climbing on glaciers, see pics below. Brian was so centered by the end of that rock sitting, he actually BECAME a mountain goat...no, that is a lie. this is actually a mountain goat.
